15 Years of Community Impact & Growth

Myddfai Trading Company, a pioneering social enterprise founded in 2010 to drive rural regeneration in Myddfai and its surrounding areas, is proud to celebrate its 15th anniversary this June.
From its humble beginnings, the company has flourished into a thriving business now operating from its dedicated production unit in Llangadog. This hub supports retail shops in Llandovery and Brecon, alongside a growing online store. Over the years, Myddfai Trading Company has stayed true to its mission while expanding its reach and impact.
Today, the enterprise employs 12 staff and proudly provides up to 30 work experience placements for young people and adults with autism and learning difficulties, helping to foster inclusion and opportunity within the local community.
In recognition of its achievements, Myddfai Trading Company was named Best Third Sector Business at the 2024 Carmarthenshire Business Awards.
To thank its customers and community, the company is marking the milestone with special celebrations on Saturday, 28th June:

• 15% off all Myddfai products in-store (Llandovery and Brecon) and online, for retail customers
• Complimentary celebratory drinks for shop visitors
• A 15-day giveaway online, where participants signing up will be entered into a daily draw to win a Myddfai product
