Paraben Free

Some parabens have been shown to have weak oestrogenic activity in test-tube studies, and some scientists have expressed concerns over whether repeated exposure could potentially affect hormone levels.
Their use is restricted in several countries and Denmark has banned two specific parabens in products intended for use on children under three years old.

SLS Free

Does not contain the harsh and irritating ingredient sodium lauryl sulphate, which is a foaming agent (detergent) used in many body gels and shampoos.

SLES Free

SLES is short for Sodium laureth sulfate which goes through process called ethoxylation. This process involves treating the detergent with ethylene oxide which makes the molecule more readily water-soluble and potentially less irritating to the skin. Unfortunately, the ethoxylation process can lead to the accidental formation of a toxin called 1,4-dioxane which is known to be carcinogenic.
